How to focus on positive thoughts?

When we get caught up in stress, anxiety, depression, etc, we often find ourselves more and more focused on what is NOT working. Our perception of life turns more and more dark, and we can’t seem to find a way out.

This is partly a “brain-trait”, partly choice. We are -from a survival point of view- more focused on surviving rather than on thriving. Our brains are slightly tilted towards “the negative” (on what could go, or is already, “wrong”). In depression, anxiety and stress, this effect often gets amplified, and “nothing” seems bright and good anymore.

How can we help our brain to focus back on the positivity in life? It’s not that it’s not there, it’s just that we have lost touch with it. That is what this video focuses on.
